Role-Reversal

The most awaited movie of the Bachchans was released this friday, namely Sarkar Raj. Other than the Bachchan family there is nothing in the film for the viewers. The story is written just for the sake of highlighting the Bachchans. The story starts from where it ended in Sarkar. The new entry is of Anita Rajan(Aishwarya Rai Bachchan), the CEO of a MNC. But, it is hard to figure out weather she is filling her job profile or serving love for already married Shankar(Abhishek Bachchan) because she is always seen following him without actual reason. The hype that was created by RGV went all in waste due to the poor story of the movie.

On the other hand Aamir starring television superstar Rajiv Khandelwal has slowly started to attract the audience and the critics. Both actor and director are debutant but have already demonstrated their immensly professional job. It is a low budget film but a film with a great story. It is a film that will keep you at the edge of your seat. It is hard to figure out any defects in Aamir. Inspite of low budget, new actor, no actress, new director Aamir is the movie that will be more appreciated than the Sarkar Raj.

Male Dominated Industry

Indian Film Industry popularly known as Bollywood is the second largest film industry after Hollywood. It is now edging to the heights of Hollywood. The viewers of Indian Cinema are spread all over the world. Despite of its wide popularity, the industry is dominated by the male actors. The fact can be proved with the example of top bollywood male actors like Shah Rukh Khan,Hritik Roshan,Salman Khan,Akshay Kumar, etc. earn a minimum of Rs. 25 crore per movie whereas female superstars such as Ashwariya Rai, Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, etc. earn less than Rs. 8 crore a film. The situation is such that supporting male actors like Jonny Lever, Paresh Raval, Anupam Kher, etc. earns the same as the of the above mentioned female actors. Now, the question arises that when female actors have helped to increase the popularity of the Indian Cinema ,then why are the producers showering money only on male actors? This also means that female actors does not have a say in the male dominated industry. Hope this differences would be soon removed from the Indian Film Industry.

Hritik Roshan = Harman Baweja

All of us are familiar with the first half of the title. Now, the second half. Harman Baweja, son of Harry Baweja is all set to make his debut in bollywood with his film Love Story 2050.This blog aims to show the similarities between Hritik and Harman. To start with both come from a family already related to the film industry and their first film are made by their father. Both of them have great mascular looks or actually look similar at the first instance. Hritik had played double role in Kaho Na Pyar Hai-his debut film and Harman is also playing two kinds of role in the first film-one in the present age and other in the future age. Hritik is the master of all dancers and Harman also pretty much dances the same.Kaho Na Pyar Hai was a big hit and looks like Love Story 2050 will also be a hit due to its fresh concept that is first of its kind in bollywood. If not it will surely receive a great opening.Hritik had signed many films after debut but Harman had already signed his second film with Ashutosh Gowarikar.Hritik has proved himselves as a versitile actor and the future will tell about Harman's fate in bollywood. One more similarity is that both the music directors of their debut film are copycat.

Jannat

Jannat is proving to be a real jannat for Imran Hashmi. The flim stars the lucky charm of the Bhutt camp-Imran Hashmi named Arjun and yet another new commer Sonal Chauhan named Zoya. The story of Jannat is the love story of the two with the background of betting in cricket and match fixing. At the beginning Arjun is involved only in betting but his craze takes him to the level of the match fixer. When he realises his mistake and want to quit all his evils ,comes the tragic end of the flim with his death. The story is OK but the songs have rocked the charts already. In the flim Imran finally decided to break his image of the serial kisser. from my point of view this is a one time watch movie with my rankings to the movie 2.5 stars that's not at all bad.
